ACCA Pakistan joins hands with Engro Foods, Group M and Al Abbas Group

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) awarded Engro Foods, Group M and Al Abbas Group with Silver Approved Employer Status, in three different ceremonies, in recognition of their commitment towards training and development of ACCA trainees.
ACCA’s Approved Employer Scheme plays a pivotal role in the recruitment, development and retention of the ACCA trainees and members. As a benefit of being an approved employer, all ACCA trainees and members working for these organisations will have an access to ACCA’s specialist resources customized for learning and development of finance and accountancy professionals. This close relationship will indeed attract talented human capital and demonstrate the organizations’ commitment towards development of employees –in turn leading to talent retention.
Approved Employer certificates were awarded to Ms Shafaq Omar, GM HR, Engro Foods, Mr Adnan Shaikh, Finance Director, Group M, and Mr Khursheed Anwer Finance Director Al Abbas Group by Mr Haroon Jan, Head of Business Development, ACCA Pakistan.
During the Approved Employer ceremony of Engro Foods Ltd, Ms Shafaq Omar stated that, ‘’ We are excited to have partnered with ACCA and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship in the future.’’
While at Group M, Mr Adnan Shaikh commented that, ‘’ “We earnestly believe that nourishment of Accountancy profession and bringing up true professionals in the field of accounting and management is one of the key benefits provided by ACCA to the corporate world”. Mr Khursheed Anwer was very appreciative of the ACCA Approved Employer programme and commented,’’ ACCA Approved Employer scheme is a very handy talent generation tool which gels well with our company’s values.’’
