ACCA 2010 wishlist.
The ACCA has said it wants 2010 to be the year in which savings and deposit taking banks are seperated from investment banking. In a wishlist drawn up its research department, ACCA also wants to a return to savings culture from the debt society and a “think small first” policy from government when considering measures for business. The wishes are among a set of nine the ACCA believes would be good for Britain this year.
Dir Steve Priddy, director of research at ACCA, said: “Our publication is a wishlist of nine key elements that must be in place by 2020 to ensure financial stability and to avoid a repeat of what just happened.”
The wishlist forms part of a report on financial stability from ACCA.
